Get your friends and teammates into speed training with you! Together the group
will worked toward all of the athletes’ goals. The groups provide extra
motivation and competition. Each athlete will be analyzed for strengths and

The Science of Game Speed: |
Maximum Speed Training - Athletes must work to improve their top speed. Although many positions don’t require much linear sprinting, it cannot be overlooked. Improving maximum speed will also improve an athlete’s quickness.
Acceleration Training - Acceleration and first step quickness is pivotal to success in every sport. Athletes need to build the necessary physical attributes and technique to fire their motor neurons faster than their opponents.
Change of Direction - An athlete must not only be able to start quickly, but also stop on a dime, reverse direction, and accelerate again. This all needs to occur while reacting to visual and auditory stimulus. Our athletes will learn proper cutting skills while responding to stimulus.
Aerobic Capacity - Any athlete can be fast during the first five minutes of competition, but only the elite athletes can maintain that pace during the entire competition. Aerobic capacity is defined as the maximum amount of oxygen the body can use during a specified period, usually during intense exercise.

Ages 7-11 Fox Training |
Fox training, for boys and girls, focuses on building coordination and agility. 90% of the coordination an athlete recieves is obtained before the age of 12. Athletes are taught proper running and cutting techniques, general footwork patterns, and an overall awareness of the connection between the mind and feet. Fox training also includes some strength training in the form of bodyweight methods.
Training at an early age will not only improve the athlete's agility forever, but is also a gateway to a lifetime of health and exercise. Fun is greatly emphasized in all training sessions.

Ages 12-15 Leopard Training |
|
Leopard training is used to build overall athletiscism. Leopards work to improve agility, speed, strength, power, reaction time, quickness, confidence, and conditioning. Leopard's power come from plyometric exercises for both the upper and lower body. Cone and ladder drills are used to improve agility and game speed. Quickness and reaction drills enhance the mind to body connection that are pivotal for top performance. Athletes are taught to posses a confidence that only comes with proper preperation. |

Ages 16-18 Tiger Training |
|
Tiger training not only trains the muscles, but also the central nervous system. Special training techniques work to develop increased motor recruitment, firing rates, and timing of the central nervous system..
Tigers work to improve agility, speed, strength, power, reaction time, quickness, confidence, and conditioning. Athletes are taught pre-game visualiztion techniques that prepare the athlete for peak performance. Confidence is obtained from a knowledge that an athlete's hard work has given them an edge over their competition. Athletes are prepared to succeed on a Varsity level. Tigers also possess the tools necessary to play collegiately if desired.

Ages 18-Up Lion Training |
|
Lion training is designed soley for elite level athletes. Elite athletes must keep training methods new in order to keep improving. Lions bodies adapt the quickest. Kozak Performance Institute has the ability to continuously shock your body into increased performance levels.
